I am so freaking proud of myself. You cannot believe it. I have finally finished Chapter 19. How long have I been working on it? Can you just imagine the party that’s going to happen when I finish Chapter 20, the last chapter of this book? WOW! I am so excited.
So, I guess I had better get on to the update, shouldn’t I? 😀
Andrew put his plan in motion to get that tape away from Karen, but Sarah, and Chris, are worried it’s going to backfire. As well they should be concerned. The backlash would be horrific.
Andrew promised to call when the deed was done, but there was no word from him all night. She’s scared. She has no idea what’s going on and it’s freaking her out. Did he listen to the tape? Did he get hurt? Chris is doing his best to keep her calm, but even he has no explanation for his silence.
And what the hell happened between Andrew and Karen? More to come…
I know it has been several days. Stuff has been going on and I just haven’t been feeling in the “romance” mood. But I’m on top of it now and I’m back on track.
So, on to the update: It seems that everyone knows what happened between Sarah and Chris. Everyone, except Andrew. Karen has her proof and Andrew is going to take it from her and make it disappear without ever knowing what has really happened.
Sarah is now afraid he’s going to find out what really happened, even though everyone who knows about it, aside from Karen, have promised to keep it quiet.
She’s ready to leave. Just a week and a half and she’s done working, then her time will be spent packing up her life and moving to L.A. It’s where she wants to be. It’s where she needs to be, or so she thinks.
This stuff is still rolling around in my head. I know where it’s going, even if I don’t get it written. I’ve been thinking about this for three years now. It’s not going anywhere. Now, though, I have 20 days to get this thing finished. No matter what happens, it will get finished by December 31st. I promise you that. More to come…
I really haven’t. I have been writing, but I have been a bit preoccupied the past few days, catching up with an old friend I haven’t talked to in a lot of years. It has been so incredibly wonderful catching up.
So, for the update….Karen Steele is an awful human being. She has gotten her proof that Sarah and Chris are lying and is planning to reveal all to Andrew, but he has other plans.
Sarah is scared Andrew will find out the truth and regrets, intensely, ever going near Chris a second time. She can’t take it back. Her only option now, praying that Andrew’s plan works so that he never has to find out the truth and they can go on with their lives.
Does it make her a cheating whore? No, not really…just extremely confused, and ashamed. Honestly, she’s not the bad person in this story. We all know who the bad person is here.
Wow! November is almost over. It seems like just yesterday we were cooking turkey and watching all of the Black Friday crazies on the news. lol This year has really flown by. Where did it go? I’m happy to say, though, that my book will be finished before the end of December.
I checked the mail today and I had a package from my good friend, Rose. Tons of British chocolate…yum…and a book written by a mutual friend, Sir Gawn Tu Fahr, or as I know him on Facebook, Jean-Pierre Gregoire. The book is entitled Love’s True Home and I can’t wait to read it. He is an amazing writer. Thank you, Rose for sharing this book with me, and for the chocolate. 🙂 I hope you’re feeling better, too.
Okay, so I know I didn’t post yesterday. That may have something to do with the fact that I didn’t write yesterday. I felt like I was being stabbed in the back of my eye. I need new glasses in the worst way.
All right, enough of that…updates – Yup, just as I predicted, Karen is up to her tricks. She has some information she is sure will ruin Andrew and Sarah forever. She, apparently, has spoken to Chris, who is worried that this woman he doesn’t even know, is going to make a mess of everything. Andrew isn’t worried. It’s just Karen being Karen and, very soon, she will be out of their lives. The next time any of them would have to see her again would be at appearances and the premier. No one would have to spend time with her at all.
What happens next? More to come…
It has been a….day. I can’t say it has been a good day, but I did get some writing done, so that makes up for the annoyances around here. Seriously, I can’t wait for this book to get done so I can make some money and get my own place.
Okay, enough of my pathetic life. lol Time to get on with the updates. That’s why you’re on my website, right? 🙂
Andrew is doing well back in L.A. His excited for filming to be finished, but more excited for Sarah’s arrival. Trevor has been a great friend, sort of a strength for him when everything looked bleak. Great friends are hard to find.
Sarah had lunch with her friend, Marie, who insisted on getting the dirt on this rumour. She put Marie’s fears to rest by telling her nothing happened, even though she knew her friend would never tell another soul what really happened. She just didn’t want to have to explain it.
For the kicker, Karen is at it again. She got the information she was looking for and now she’s being smug about it. She’s sure Andrew will dump Sarah once and for all and come running to her…not likely…ever!! More to come…
I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, and a fantastic Thanksgiving. The weekend is over, but I’m still plugging away at this novel. I got a bit sidetracked, but it happens sometimes. I got a lot of writing done, though.
On to the update: Yes, Karen is scheming to find out the truth about Sarah and Chris. I wonder what she’s going to come up with? Everyone is so tight-lipped about what happened that she may turn up nothing at all. Then again….
Andrew and Sarah are doing fine, almost as if nothing happened at all. They worked it out, so there’s no reason to dwell on it. Sarah is worried that her lunch date with her friend, Marie, is going to bring out the truth and she doesn’t want another soul to know what really happened.
Sarah is also a bit suspicious of Chris right at the moment, but she’s playing it off as the good friend theory. Why he’s being so nice and pushing her to keep it all quiet and move to L.A. has her very worried. She needs to find out what he’s up to. More to come…
So, I spent most of the day getting my name on just about every author/publisher social site. The more exposure I get, the better my chances of getting a publisher to look at my work. Wish me luck!
Update: Sarah got herself out this latest mess. Thanks, Chris. He could have blown her secret right out of the water, but he chose his love for her over sabotage. What a nice guy.
Karen thinks she going to play games again. She may want to start trouble. She really likes to put doubt in Andrew’s head about Sarah. Not this time. He told her off, once and for all. That doesn’t mean she’s going to quit. I think she may try to get to the bottom of this “rumour”.
Andrew and Sarah have talked things out and everything is peachy in Andrew-Sarah Land again. It’s just the way it should be, right? More to come….
I think 20 chapters is good for this book. The sequel will really get down to business, and I know this one is going to be major, which means I can stop looking for a crappy job I won’t like anyway, and work, full-time, on the second one, while I rake in the bucks from the sales of this one. HA! HA! Hey, a girl can dream, right? 🙂
Okay, I did write on Wednesday (and yesterday was Thanksgiving), but it was late, so I decided to keep the suspense. I told you it was about to blow up and it did.
The paparazzi told the whole country that Sarah and Chris had slept together a second time. Misinformation…or is it? You’ll have to read the book to find out for sure.
Andrew saw the gossip show and lost it…he pretty much broke it off with Sarah, but realised he needed to get the whole story, and the best place to get the truth was from the other source…Chris. He knew Chris would tell him the truth. Did Chris spill his guts and tell Andrew he had slept with Sarah a second time? Another piece of information that won’t be revealed unless you read the book.
It’s getting close, you guys…it will be finished before the end of the year, then it will be time to send out letters to publishers while I edit…then I can start working on the sequel….any suggestions on a title for the sequel? I have no ideas at this time. Help me out! 🙂
Okay, I really messed up yesterday’s post title. Yesterday was Monday, not Sunday. Where is my brain? lol
Time for a major update: I haven’t quite made it to Chapter 19. Not just yet, but I’m close. I do have to stop when I start making more typos than actual coherent sentences. My brain starts running faster than my fingers want to type and then the roles reverse. It’s a mess, so it’s best to just put it away until I’m fully lucid. The whole scene is still up there. The words are there. I have been playing them out in film format for two days now. They aren’t going to disappear.
Sarah got home from the airport and had a nice, long chat with Chris. It went well. They finally worked all of their crap out. He loves her, but he really realizes that she will never love him as much as she loves Andrew. He’s as okay with it as he’s going to get.
At work, Valerie is cool and calm; concerned for her friend and employee. She just wants to make sure Sarah is really doing what she feels in her heart and that it’s the right thing. Chris has spoken to her about his feelings for Sarah and how he knows he has to let her go, and Valerie just wants Sarah to know she supports her decision.
At lunch, the girls at work take Sarah to a strip club as her bachelorette party. That was a total shock, but they all had a great time. When they got back to the office, Andrew was calling her. She thought he would be mad that she was looking at other men, half naked, but he found it to be the most hilarious thing he had heard in his life. It just confirmed their love for one another.
Tomorrow…the BIG scene…the scene that could change everything. Will it? Will what happens next really tear everything apart for Sarah and Andrew for good, or will it make them stronger? More to come….
I had a brief bout of writer’s block, but I’m back with a vengeance. I was hoping to get the whole scene that has been playing out in my head written, but I can’t make my fingers and my brain work in sync any more tonight. It’s all in my head now, running rampant and I’m sure it’s going to keep me awake half the night as it plays out in my brain.
As for the update…Andrew has gone back to L.A. and he and Sarah are, for lack of a better word, sad. They are so sickening sweet it’s nauseating, but they’re in love, so who cares! However, Chris now wants to talk to her when she gets home. He has decided to come back early for just this purpose.
Yes, folks, the proverbial shit is about to hit the fan. Something awful is about to happen and I’m sure Sarah will find a way to talk her way out of it because, if she loses Andrew again, she’s going to end up in a mental institution.
I have a feeling she’s not going to make it to L.A. before this book ends and the next one starts. I just love cliff-hangers, don’t you? 🙂 More to come…
