It’s nearing the end, folks. I would say two or three more days and I’ll be finished with this book.
On to the reason why you’re even on my page – an update: Sarah tried to tell Andrew how she feels, but she just couldn’t make herself do it, and she feels horrible about it. It might just be too late to fix it because it seems Andrew has accepted that it’s over.
He is now in London, where his family is telling him to go to Sarah and make her see reason. Seems kind of funny considering just a few months ago they were afraid she was a psycho killer. lol
Andrew hasn’t really accepted it’s over, he’s just decided to kill the pain with an excessive amount of booze, a tramp at his side, and his face all over Celebrity Weekly (the tabloid news show). What he does next will either make you laugh at his stupidity or yell at the page, telling him he’s stupid. Let’s just leave it at that. More to come….
It’s so close now I can taste it! The final page is getting closer and closer. I am so excited.
Update time: Sarah is one stubborn woman. She isn’t listening to reason from anyone. What is her daughter going to say when she comes home? That’s certainly not going to turn out well.
Sarah’s best friend, Mary, is taking a trip to London, and guess who else is planning a trip? That isn’t going to turn out well, either.
Every one of Sarah’s friends is telling her what an idiot she is. Trevor is trying to talk her into calling Andrew. It’s just not going to happen. She has made up her mind, or is she, deep down, having doubts? Only she knows that, and, well, so do I. 🙂
I guess you’ll just have to wait and find out the drama that is about to unfold as the rest of this last chapter progresses. I’m telling you, you’re going to want to know what happens, but the ultimate outcome will have to wait until the sequel. HA HA! More to come…
So, I spent most of the day getting my name on just about every author/publisher social site. The more exposure I get, the better my chances of getting a publisher to look at my work. Wish me luck!
Update: Sarah got herself out this latest mess. Thanks, Chris. He could have blown her secret right out of the water, but he chose his love for her over sabotage. What a nice guy.
Karen thinks she going to play games again. She may want to start trouble. She really likes to put doubt in Andrew’s head about Sarah. Not this time. He told her off, once and for all. That doesn’t mean she’s going to quit. I think she may try to get to the bottom of this “rumour”.
Andrew and Sarah have talked things out and everything is peachy in Andrew-Sarah Land again. It’s just the way it should be, right? More to come….
I think 20 chapters is good for this book. The sequel will really get down to business, and I know this one is going to be major, which means I can stop looking for a crappy job I won’t like anyway, and work, full-time, on the second one, while I rake in the bucks from the sales of this one. HA! HA! Hey, a girl can dream, right? 🙂
Okay, I really messed up yesterday’s post title. Yesterday was Monday, not Sunday. Where is my brain? lol
Time for a major update: I haven’t quite made it to Chapter 19. Not just yet, but I’m close. I do have to stop when I start making more typos than actual coherent sentences. My brain starts running faster than my fingers want to type and then the roles reverse. It’s a mess, so it’s best to just put it away until I’m fully lucid. The whole scene is still up there. The words are there. I have been playing them out in film format for two days now. They aren’t going to disappear.
Sarah got home from the airport and had a nice, long chat with Chris. It went well. They finally worked all of their crap out. He loves her, but he really realizes that she will never love him as much as she loves Andrew. He’s as okay with it as he’s going to get.
At work, Valerie is cool and calm; concerned for her friend and employee. She just wants to make sure Sarah is really doing what she feels in her heart and that it’s the right thing. Chris has spoken to her about his feelings for Sarah and how he knows he has to let her go, and Valerie just wants Sarah to know she supports her decision.
At lunch, the girls at work take Sarah to a strip club as her bachelorette party. That was a total shock, but they all had a great time. When they got back to the office, Andrew was calling her. She thought he would be mad that she was looking at other men, half naked, but he found it to be the most hilarious thing he had heard in his life. It just confirmed their love for one another.
Tomorrow…the BIG scene…the scene that could change everything. Will it? Will what happens next really tear everything apart for Sarah and Andrew for good, or will it make them stronger? More to come….
It has been a couple of days. I apologize, again. This eye strain is really bugging the crap out of me.
First things first…I spent a good part of the day updating my website. I added links to my playlist so all of you can click on songs you like. The links will take you directly to the song’s YouTube page, this way you can listen to a song while you’re stalking my website. 🙂 I also added the video my good friend, Carlos Bello, made as a promo for the book. It’s at the top of my synopsis page. One other thing, I added a drawing from the video of, I’m going to say it’s Andrew. He looks like how I described Andrew. I’m sure there will be more updates in the coming days and weeks.
I hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween and got lots of candy. Now send some my way because I didn’t get any. 😦 lol (kidding.
On to my update. Andrew has officially broken it off with Sarah, but has he really made the right decision? His best friend thinks he’s an idiot, afraid he’s going to go off the deep end like he did with his last ex. Andrew’s feelings for Sarah are much stronger than they were for Natalie (his ex), so the possibility that he loses it is very real. I guess we’ll have to see. In the meantime, Sarah has a melt-down and when it’s over, she realizes she is going to be okay. Things begin to go back to normal for her. She’s back to living her quiet, boring, routine life, just the way it’s supposed to be, right? Not so fast, folks…it’s going to get a lot more intense and filled with a lot more drama; more than anyone expected and far more than anyone wants. But, I’ve said this before, it wouldn’t be a great novel without lots of drama. Of course, Chris is standing by Sarah’s side through all of this. What a good “friend”, huh? What about that, anyway? Hmm…..more to come….
She’s done with both of them, or is she? Sarah has told Andrew it’s over, now he’s freaked out that she has cheated on him again. Chris is being mean and hateful and spiteful to her now, but still insists he loves her. Sarah has burned her bridges to the ground, hasn’t she? Maybe not. What is Andrew’s next move? What is Chris’s next move? For that matter, what is Sarah’snext move?
Something is going to give very soon and it isn’t going to be pretty, but it wouldn’t be a best-selling novel if there wasn’t a whole bunch of drama attached to the characters. There is a lot attached to these three and it’s about to get more dramatic. More to come…
Sarah is at it again. One mistake after another, despite her decision to say goodbye to both of them. I’m beginning to wonder if my demented mind is trying to tell me something. lol. Sarah has just announced to one of them that she is finished with him. She plans to do the same thing with the other one. She is just far too conflicted to be forced to make a choice between the two men she is madly in love with without hurting either one of them because they are both in love with her. So, she has made up her mind to kick them both to the curb.
This is going to make one hell of a film if it ever makes it that far. There is so much drama, and, as I’ve said before, drama belongs on t.v. and in novels, not in real life.
All right, fans, any suggestions here? I would really love the input again. Thanks. More to come…
