It has been a….day. I can’t say it has been a good day, but I did get some writing done, so that makes up for the annoyances around here. Seriously, I can’t wait for this book to get done so I can make some money and get my own place.
Okay, enough of my pathetic life. lol Time to get on with the updates. That’s why you’re on my website, right? 🙂
Andrew is doing well back in L.A. His excited for filming to be finished, but more excited for Sarah’s arrival. Trevor has been a great friend, sort of a strength for him when everything looked bleak. Great friends are hard to find.
Sarah had lunch with her friend, Marie, who insisted on getting the dirt on this rumour. She put Marie’s fears to rest by telling her nothing happened, even though she knew her friend would never tell another soul what really happened. She just didn’t want to have to explain it.
For the kicker, Karen is at it again. She got the information she was looking for and now she’s being smug about it. She’s sure Andrew will dump Sarah once and for all and come running to her…not likely…ever!! More to come…
I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, and a fantastic Thanksgiving. The weekend is over, but I’m still plugging away at this novel. I got a bit sidetracked, but it happens sometimes. I got a lot of writing done, though.
On to the update: Yes, Karen is scheming to find out the truth about Sarah and Chris. I wonder what she’s going to come up with? Everyone is so tight-lipped about what happened that she may turn up nothing at all. Then again….
Andrew and Sarah are doing fine, almost as if nothing happened at all. They worked it out, so there’s no reason to dwell on it. Sarah is worried that her lunch date with her friend, Marie, is going to bring out the truth and she doesn’t want another soul to know what really happened.
Sarah is also a bit suspicious of Chris right at the moment, but she’s playing it off as the good friend theory. Why he’s being so nice and pushing her to keep it all quiet and move to L.A. has her very worried. She needs to find out what he’s up to. More to come…
So, I spent most of the day getting my name on just about every author/publisher social site. The more exposure I get, the better my chances of getting a publisher to look at my work. Wish me luck!
Update: Sarah got herself out this latest mess. Thanks, Chris. He could have blown her secret right out of the water, but he chose his love for her over sabotage. What a nice guy.
Karen thinks she going to play games again. She may want to start trouble. She really likes to put doubt in Andrew’s head about Sarah. Not this time. He told her off, once and for all. That doesn’t mean she’s going to quit. I think she may try to get to the bottom of this “rumour”.
Andrew and Sarah have talked things out and everything is peachy in Andrew-Sarah Land again. It’s just the way it should be, right? More to come….
I think 20 chapters is good for this book. The sequel will really get down to business, and I know this one is going to be major, which means I can stop looking for a crappy job I won’t like anyway, and work, full-time, on the second one, while I rake in the bucks from the sales of this one. HA! HA! Hey, a girl can dream, right? 🙂
I had a brief bout of writer’s block, but I’m back with a vengeance. I was hoping to get the whole scene that has been playing out in my head written, but I can’t make my fingers and my brain work in sync any more tonight. It’s all in my head now, running rampant and I’m sure it’s going to keep me awake half the night as it plays out in my brain.
As for the update…Andrew has gone back to L.A. and he and Sarah are, for lack of a better word, sad. They are so sickening sweet it’s nauseating, but they’re in love, so who cares! However, Chris now wants to talk to her when she gets home. He has decided to come back early for just this purpose.
Yes, folks, the proverbial shit is about to hit the fan. Something awful is about to happen and I’m sure Sarah will find a way to talk her way out of it because, if she loses Andrew again, she’s going to end up in a mental institution.
I have a feeling she’s not going to make it to L.A. before this book ends and the next one starts. I just love cliff-hangers, don’t you? 🙂 More to come…
I am so so sorry. I did write a little the other day, but it was just a sex scene, so I didn’t figure I would post about that. With all of these delays and interruptions going on in my life the past few days, I’m wondering if I’m going to have this book finished by the end of the year. Keep your fingers crossed for me, please.
Here we go: Chris and Sarah are getting their friendship back on track after the mishap with the paparazzi. He went home, but he decided he should come back and make amends with Sarah. After all, he loves her and, although she won’t admit it again, she loves him, too.
Andrew and Sarah are still happy as little mud ducks, being all “ooey-gooey”, as Nina calls it. Sarah refuses to tell Andrew about her and Chris. It’s just easier on everyone if she doesn’t. More to come…
Hey, it happens. Give me break! 🙂
So, I guess I should get on with it. Once again, Sarah is not happy with Chris. She swears he planned for the paparazzi to witness their conversation about their recent indiscretion. Deep down, she knew he hadn’t, but her fear of being found out made her accuse him. She had to blame someone. She didn’t exactly apologize to him, but as he was leaving to go back to his house for the rest of the weekend, to keep the peace, she smoothed things over. So far so good.
She had a great conversation with her best friend, Mary, who called to bitch at her for not keeping her up to date with what had been going on. That woman always makes her laugh, that’s why she’s such a great friend. And Mary thinks Andrew is sexy. Duh! Because he is. He’s British, of course, everything about him is sexy. (That’s me talking, by the way).
Sarah has no intention of telling Andrew what happened with Chris. It was long enough ago that it doesn’t really matter now, anyway, but it would completely destroy their relationship forever if Andrew found out, and when the press starts talking about her conversation with Chris, and they will, she has an explanation for it. No worries. Thanks, Nina. 🙂 More to come….
I have no idea where my head has been the past couple of days, but I’m sad to say it hasn’t been on my book. 😦
I wrote a few pages last night, and a few more pages tonight, but my head just isn’t in it. I’ll be back at it tomorrow and, hopefully, with a vengeance. I’m nearly there, to the end, but these past couple of days have just been weird. It’s hard to explain.
As for what I have done…Chris and Sarah were back on track. He had a good talk with Nina. She got his perspective on things and hates him a little less. Sarah wanted to make sure the two of them were good, so when she got back from picking up dinner with Andrew, she and Chris took a walk to clear the air. Chris tried to find out why she wasn’t going to tell Andrew they had slept together. As the words left his lips, the paparazzi emerged from their hiding spot at the end of the block and started taking pictures.
What is going to come out of this? Will the incident at the museum become front page news? Will this development become front page news. It’s almost guaranteed, for both. More to come…
